Eric Williams and Jim Gardas capture 2013 AGA John Moore Championship.

Champions Eric Williams, Dennis Corvo (AGA), and Jim Gardas.
Peckville, PA – Jim Gardas and Eric Williams once again defended their title by capturing the 30th Anthracite Golf Association John Moore Tournament
With an opening round 67 at Elkview Country Club the champions took a two shot lead over the field and never looked back.
In round two the team shot a tournament low round of 65 on Saturday at Paupack Hills Country Club which was matched by Santo LaFoca and Austin Smith who carded rounds of 72-65 for a two-day total 137 heading into final round of action.
Williams and Gardas would not be caught as they continued their fine play with rounds of 67-65-66-198 and six-shot victory over LaFoca and Smith who finished at 204 (72-65-67). Robin Bonda and Bob Andrejko finished third carding rounds of 71-69-66-206
