The Anthracite Golf Association, now in its 58th season promoting golf in Northeastern Pennsylvania, is celebrating its 20th year of awarding scholarships to deserving young golfers.
We are proud that these awards have gone to some exceptional young people from some of our area's finest schools. They include the following: Abington Heights, Bishop Hoban, Bishop O'Hara, Bishop O'Reilly. Carbondale Area, Crestwood, Dunmore, Elk Lake, Forest City, Honesdale, Lakeland, Lake Lehman, Mid Valley, Montrose, North Pocono' Old Forge, Pittston Area, Scranton Prep, Seton Catholic, Tunkhannock, Valley View, Wallenpaupack, Wilkes-Barre GAR, Wyoming Area, Wyoming Seminary, and Wyoming Valley West.
