Programs
Using volunteers, the Anthracite Golf Association provides a number of ongoing programs to benefit our member clubs and, in turn, their golfers. These programs serve as the focal point of the association’s activities on an annual basis. Click on the links below to find out more.
We are the authoritative administrator of the USGA Handicapping system in Northeastern Pennsylvania. An integral part of that system is the ongoing Course Rating and Course Measuring of our member courses. In addition, we administer the GHIN system for our member clubs and set the GHIN Revision Schedule.
We encourage our member clubs to utilize the services of the USGA Turf Advisory Service through a unique partnership program and we conduct championships for adult amateurs as well as USGA qualifiers.
